MANAGEMENT SERVICES COMMITTEE
2007-2008 Committee Goals
This Committee is charged with examining policies, guidelines, and related matters affecting the management of State Rehabilitation Agencies, including the review of proposed changes in Federal statistical and reporting requirements. In addition, the Committee is charged with monitoring and considering developments and projects regarding the evaluation of the Public Vocational Rehabilitation Program.
Goal # 1
Continue to work with the Rehabilitation Services Administration on the Monitoring Redesign Initiative (i.e., RSA SA Teams, 107, State Plan, Strategic Plan, Strategic Performance Plan, etc.).
Goal # 2
Work with the Rehabilitation Services Administration regarding any new, or changes to existing Standards and Indicators, including DOL Common Performance Measures, and any other GAO recommendations.
Goal # 3
Work with the Rehabilitation Services Administration and State Agencies on implementation of the Management Information System (MIS) i.e., submittal of Rehabilitation Services Administration reports including the RSA- 2, RSA-113, RSA -722, and RSA-269 via the web based system.) Determine State Agency interest in a national VR computer system.
Goal # 4
Determine the need for a follow up review with state Vocational Rehabilitation Agencies with respect to monitoring and technical assistance as the Rehabilitation Services Administration completes reviews in the second year of their review cycle.
